Just a quick thanks for the recent trade, and to let the others know about your reliability.
Cheers!

YW!!! ...and thanks to you as well, Roy C.
I guess it's in the name.
May we all eventually enrich our must-have collections through similar generosities and kindnesses.
Now that we've started a new thread, I'd like to branch off by offering 5 titles that I have which I feel may diversify Vincenzo Discologies, traders/sharers welcome.
1. Eros Ramazzotti - Dove C'e Musica/Donde Hay Musica
2. Eros Ramazzotti - Eros
3. Ron Kenoly - We Offer Praises
4. Quincy Jones - Basie & Beyond (he plays on most of the tunes)
5. Sting, A Perfect Night In Houston (Thanks to Selim36 for this one)
Also, though there's only one highlight track, Dave Weckl does some justice on the Gershwin Connection by Dave Grusin on "Fascinatin' Rhythm." I can listen to that track ALL day.
Anyone else got a "Top 5" they're willing to share?
Ciao for now.

Hi guys...I'm following the debate about trading/swops with interest, as I, in common with lots of you, have been burnt to a lesser degree by lees than scrupulous "traders". However, I'd like to offer my collection of Vinnie/Sting live bootlegs...I've got some real corkers to trade...I've been correspondong with Roy C about some stuff, but I felt there's a wider audience who would appreciate having access to these Vinnie recordings. Much of it is soundboard/FM qulaity, and all of it is amazing! My motivation for collecting these live boots is not to deprive Sting of a few royalties(!), but to hear the master in full flight, on as wide a range of material as possible - not all of which is commercially available.Where else can we hear Vinnie's Hi-hat flourishes as on the many versions of "It's ProbablyMe", or his constant re-interpretation of Seven Days?
Let me know if anyone's into this....I'll be watching the message borad with anticipation!

I would love to get in on some of the trades!
Some of the things I have are:
-The Stanton Moore Clinic (from his site, it's still in pieces but I have them in order on one disk)
-Chick Corea Acoustic Band Live @ the Blue Note in Tokyo (Audio cd-available on Audiophile Imports and Video cd-courtesy of Randy Walker)
-Gino Vanelli's Nightwalker
-The Sting B-Day Concert on vhs-ok quality
-Randy Waldman's Wigged Out w/Vinnie and John Pattitucci
If anyone has anything they want to trade for this stuff, let me know. I'd like to at least be able to do an even trade, if you have something that I don't.
Email me @ [email protected].
Thanks!
